The selection process conducted by ARESTES involves the following stages:

As a result of the meetings held with the client's staff related to the position to be filled, we define in detail the professional profile of the post, together with its technical requirements, functions, responsibilities, future prospects in the company, pay level and so on, as well as the personal qualities, knowledge and experience the candidate will need.
Once the ideal profile has been defined, it is submitted to the client for their approval. This is the starting point for beginning to identify candidates.

By sifting through our résumés of I.T. professionals and, if necessary, the appropriate professional spheres, we set about drawing up a preliminary list of prospective candidates.
Each person on the list is consulted in order to ascertain their degree of interest in the position and their possible fit into it. On the basis of this stage the original group is reduced to a select group of candidates, who then go on to the assessment stage.

At this point a series of interviews is carried out with each of the candidates. Out of these comes the group of finalists who possess all the features of the profile sought.

Once the group of finalists has been defined, the assessment team meets to discuss the features of each of them and agree unanimously upon the shortlist to be submitted to the client.
A report is drawn up on each of the candidates on the shortlist, with the following content:

Personal details.
Academic training.
Professional résumé.
Technical assessment.
Psychological-technical report (optional)
Motivations for change.
Conclusions.

These reports serve as support material for the interviews which are held with the proposed candidates.
Once the interviews between the client and the candidates submitted have been completed, there is an exchange of opinions between the ARESTES consultants who have played a role in the search and the client's staff who conducted the interviews, with the aim of combining criteria and comparing opinions in order to assist the client in taking the final decision.
With the consent of the candidate selected, prior to concluding the contract, the references they provided are discreetly followed up, in order to check on their experience and professional career.
Once the chosen candidate has started work, we follow up the appointment for six or twelve months, depending on the case, with both the client and the professional in question, in order to advise both of them during this period of mutual acceptance. We use our experience to help to solve any problems which might arise.
